Brand identity, UI design, art direction and copywriting for an app that makes you money using what you already have.
The Brief
What I had to do: Come up with a product, business or entrepreneurial idea.
Idea ‘springboard’: Inflation, rising interest rates and general cost of living increases are affecting us all. Create a new product or service that helps to make life a little less expensive.
How it started
How it’s going

making it weird
To complement the app concept, I created an ad campaign that plays on the phrase “Don’t make it weird.” Instead of shying away from the awkward or grotesque, I leaned in and celebrated weirdness as a defining feature of the Rentable brand.
The app includes a dedicated “Weird” category, normalising it as part of the everyday. Building on that, I designed a series of out-of-home (OOH) mockups that personify hypothetical users in offbeat ways. From haunted unicycles to taxidermied pigeons, each ad aims to make the weird feel oddly relatable and unforgettably human.
